This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 15 losses; Jackson Ramirez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 32 wins and 19 losses; Xavier Merlin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Merlin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ramirez sprawls well. Ramirez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Merlin gets slowly back to his feet.
