Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Kowalski (ranked 680 p4p, 2296 weight class) and Einar Kyrvänsyylä (ranked 82 p4p, 249 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyrvänsyylä shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kowalski pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kowalski fails with the takedown
and Kyrvänsyylä counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kyrvänsyylä looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A punch combination from Kyrvänsyylä misses.
Kowalski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kyrvänsyylä circles away quickly and effectively.
Kowalski avoids the head kick by Kyrvänsyylä.
Kyrvänsyylä will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kowalski drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kyrvänsyylä sprawls and moves away.
Kyrvänsyylä stuffs the takedown attempt from Kowalski. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet.
Kowalski scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kyrvänsyylä works Kowalski's body with a nice hook.

Kowalski lands a nice shot that snaps Kyrvänsyylä's head back.
Kyrvänsyylä misses with a wild body shot.
Kowalski cracks Kyrvänsyylä with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kyrvänsyylä smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kyrvänsyylä slips a straight right by Kowalski.

Kowalski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kowalski lands in his opponent's guard.

Kowalski is looking to work some ground and pound but Kyrvänsyylä has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kowalski won't allow Kyrvänsyylä to get back to his feet.
Kowalski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kyrvänsyylä wants to stand but Kowalski is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kyrvänsyylä is not content to let Kowalski control the position.
Kyrvänsyylä is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kowalski asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kowalski lands a decent elbow from side control.
Kowalski cracks Kyrvänsyylä with a big right hand but Kyrvänsyylä just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Kowalski is chipping away with strikes.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kyrvänsyylä is pushing Kowalski's head away, looking to escape. Kowalski manages to hold on to the position though.
Kowalski in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Kyrvänsyylä looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Kowalski turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
