Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Just Fight Scappy Do (ranked 3088 p4p, 2386 weight class) and Dillon Hardman (ranked 386 p4p, 318 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hardman's choice of entrance music: Hang ‘Em High. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Just Fight Scappy Do! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dillon Hardman! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scappy Do moves into the clinch. Hardman lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Just Fight Scappy Do has been cut. Hardman working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hardman creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hardman throws a punch but it's blocked by Scappy Do. Scappy Do blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Scappy Do lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Dillon Hardman has been cut. Hardman lands a nice shot to the body. Scappy Do has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hardman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Scappy Do looking to throw knees to the head but Hardman is blocking nicely.
Hardman can't find room to land a body shot as Scappy Do controls the action.
Hardman pushes Scappy Do back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Scappy Do using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hardman has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hardman lands a left hand.
Scappy Do with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scappy Do takes a shot to the head. Hardman has a couple of punches blocked by Scappy Do.

Hardman pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Hardman lands a shoulder strike. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hardman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scappy Do jumps guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hardman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hardman preventing the sweep. Scappy Do bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hardman's guard. Scappy Do is looking to stand up but Hardman won't let him. Hardman has Scappy Do pulled in close to control his posture. Let's hope that Hardman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Scappy Do trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardman has control of Scappy Do's left arm, preventing Scappy Do from doing any damage. Scappy Do wants to control from the top but Hardman keeps moving. Hardman looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Hardman is continuing to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scappy Do looking to pass the guard. Scappy Do is fighting to break Hardman's control of his arms but Hardman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Scappy Do passes easily into side control. Nice work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Hardman prevents Scappy Do from moving into mount. Hardman is looking to reverse the position. Hardman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Scappy Do controlling from side mount. Hardman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scappy Do is working away from the top position though. Scappy Do is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hardman tries to roll over but Scappy Do keeps him under control. Scappy Do wants to free his trapped foot but Hardman is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hardman wants to control but Scappy Do is keeping busy and won't allow it. Scappy Do is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hardman is looking for a sweep. Scappy Do is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hardman is looking to control Scappy Do's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hardman avoid being mounted? Hardman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Scappy Do wants to pass to mount but Hardman is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hardman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Scappy Do's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Scappy Do's back! Hardman has the hooks in. Scappy Do is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Hardman trying to control momentarily.
Good control from Hardman. Hardman throwing damaging strikes from the back! Scappy Do could be in trouble here!
Hardman is working the ground and pound. Can Scappy Do escape? Hardman struggling to keep hold of the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dillon Hardman dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Scappy Do feints and then cracks Hardman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hardman down. Hardman on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hardman checks a low kick from Scappy Do. Scappy Do looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Scappy Do dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Scappy Do uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A solid leg kick lands there for Hardman.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hardman checks a leg kick. Scappy Do ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hardman scores with an uppercut up the middle. Hardman is pressed up against the cage. Scappy Do has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hardman down to the mat. Hardman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Scappy Do swings for the body but Hardman moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters circling - Scappy Do throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Scappy Do throws out a loose jab but Hardman uses good head movement to avoid it. Hardman wants to counter the offense by Scappy Do and move into the clinch position. Some wild striking there from Scappy Do.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scappy Do tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Scappy Do throws out a leg kick but Hardman moves out of range and Scappy Do only half commits. A good leg kick by Scappy Do. Hardman scores with a jab to the jaw. Hardman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Scappy Do throws out a loose jab but Hardman uses good head movement to avoid it. Scappy Do throws a jab but it's blocked by Hardman. Hardman tries to counter by closing the distance. Scappy Do has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Scappy Do finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Scappy Do throws a big shot that misses. Just Fight Scappy Do seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Scappy Do misses. Hardman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Scappy Do misses with an uppercut. Hardman saw that one coming. Hardman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Hardman throws a head kick that Scappy Do semi-blocks.
Just Fight Scappy Do's cut is getting worse. Hardman moves out of range as Scappy Do strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Scappy Do staying out of range there. Hardman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scappy Do takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oooooh!!! Hardman has knocked Scappy Do down with a huge combo! Hardman steps away and waves a wobbly Scappy Do back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Scappy Do is rocked! OH! Scappy Do has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Hardman smells blood and charges in for the finish! Hardman unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Scappy Do sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dillon Hardman! Our winner, Dillon Hardman, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
