Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dale Doback!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo P Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P Cruz tries to keep at a distance but Doback has taken the fight into the clinch.
P Cruz breaks from the clinch.
Doback has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
P Cruz misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like Doback wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
P Cruz misses with a body kick.
Doback's corner calls for a 1-2. Doback obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Doback fakes high and swings low for a body shot but P Cruz manages to avoid it.
P Cruz misses with a jab, cross combination.
P Cruz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Doback moves into range and clinches up with P Cruz.

P Cruz stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Doback scores with the left hand. P Cruz knows he should have avoided that one.
Doback tries to keep at a distance but P Cruz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Doback using the Thai plumb to throw knees but P Cruz has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Doback.
P Cruz is trying to break the clinch but Doback has him pressed against the cage.

It looks like Ricardo P Cruz has been cut.

P Cruz stalks Doback and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Doback's face. Doback staggers backwards, shaken.
Sloppy strikes from P Cruz. Those never looked like landing.
A left and a right from P Cruz both land. Nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
P Cruz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
P Cruz is trying to break the clinch but Doback has him pressed against the cage.
Doback scores with a nice hook to the head.

P Cruz is looking to break free of the clinch but Doback has double underhooks.

Doback jerks P Cruz's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! P Cruz drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Doback goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Doback because P Cruz was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Dale Doback gave a mention to Brooklyn Threads in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
