Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barron White (ranked 19 p4p, 109 weight class) and Kjetil Olsen (ranked 4 p4p, 13 weight class). Olsen has chosen Liberty by LXST CXNTURY as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barron White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kjetil Olsen!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Olsen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blaze Gym in the buildup to the fight.
White throws a lazy right hand but Olsen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
White sizes up Olsen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Kjetil Olsen has been cut.
Olsen moves out of range of the strikes.
Olsen thuds his right hand into White's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Olsen misses with a looping right.
It looked like White wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Olsen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on White if he has to take too many more of those.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Olsen cracks White with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Olsen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning White to stand back up!

White steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Olsen. That one must have hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crunch! Olsen slams his shin into White's torso.

Olsen sends White crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Olsen is motioning to the referee to let White up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
White moves out of range of the strikes.

Olsen throws a shot from downtown. White moves away and avoids it.
White swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Olsen looks for the body kick but White saw that one coming.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Olsen drops White with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but White looks back up at him and smiles so Olsen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Olsen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Olsen counters with a crisp right hand that drops White! Olsen lets White back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Olsen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
White lands with a hook. Olsen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! White crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Olsen - the referee stops the clock and White gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Olsen. White manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Olsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Olsen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

White will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Olsen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
White blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
White tries to throw a body punch but Olsen avoids it by throwing White back against the cage.
Olsen lands a shoulder strike.

Olsen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Olsen.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White misses the jab.
