The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Siam has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Siam seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
McCain manages to get to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCain is on top in guard.

McCain is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Siam is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Siam has escaped and now he's on top!

McCain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Siam manages to get himself to full guard.

McCain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Siam manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McCain has Siam in his guard.

McCain is looking for a triangle here but Siam uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
McCain gets back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Siam takes the fight on points by 14 to 6.
Chan Siam retains his featherweight title!
