Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Missa Fook (ranked 4234 p4p, 3714 weight class) and Solo Uso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solo Uso is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Missa Fook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Solo Uso!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uso changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fook looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uso is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fook's shoulder. That is not cool.
Uso is chipping away with strikes.
Uso takes a little break here. Fook wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Fook is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uso is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fook has escaped the position, nice work there.
The referee asks Uso politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Uso prefers to stall for the moment though.

Uso is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fook knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fook tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fook wants to control but Uso postures up.

Uso tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Fook's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Uso thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Uso slows the pace down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fook tries to improve position but can't.
Fook might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Uso tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Uso has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fook could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Uso controlling from side mount.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Uso looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fook is fending him off so far but Uso persists. Nope, Fook circles away and we're back to standing.
Fook half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Fook closes the distance and pushes Uso back into the cage.
Fook is pressed up against the cage. Uso has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fook down to the mat. Fook avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Fook lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Uso looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Uso is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fook doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Uso.
Fook wants to improve his position but Uso is controlling well.

Uso keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Uso is looking to advance position but Fook won't allow it.

Uso is working for a kimura but Fook is defending it quite comfortably.
Uso works his foot free and advances to mount.

It looks like Missa Fook has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Uso takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fook tries to hold on but Uso pushes him away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Uso shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Uso was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Uso is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fook will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Fook is not content to let Uso control the position.

Uso pulls Fook in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Fook stuffs the takedown attempt from Uso. Uso gets slowly back to his feet.

Fook gets caught flat footed, as Uso shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Uso landing with the ground and pound.
Uso tries to free his leg and advance position but Fook is retaining full guard.
Uso stands and throws Fook's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Uso looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Fook is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Uso's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Uso is taking a breather. Fook says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Uso seems to be working for a kimura but Fook defends the submission attempt.
Uso stalling.
Uso wants to pass to mount but Fook is defending the position.

Uso shoots in looking for a takedown. Fook tries to sprawl out of it but Uso keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fook manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Uso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fook swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Missa Fook has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Solo Uso is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Solo Uso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Uso winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
