Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 3754 p4p, 3680 weight class) and Supa Plax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Supa Plax! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plax tries to clinch up. Plax moves away from the strike by Sanchez. Sanchez gets a takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Sanchez there. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sanchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Plax is trying to stand.
Sanchez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Sanchez scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Sanchez prevents Plax from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sanchez working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sanchez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Plax with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
It looks like Supa Plax has been cut. Sanchez keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Sanchez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez slips a nice elbow through Plax's hands, connecting with Plax's forehead.
Plax is rocked! Sanchez lands with a punch from half guard. Plax is still in real trouble! Can Sanchez finish him? Sanchez lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Plax quite badly. Plax pulls Sanchez in close trying to recover. Sanchez postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Plax on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Plax doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Sanchez!
