The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lugano feints and as Nakagata Jr raises his hands in defense, Lugano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lugano throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Nakagata Jr tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lugano throws a strike but Nakagata Jr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Nakagata Jr pushes down on Lugano's leg and manages to get into half guard.
