Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Honorio (ranked 941 p4p, 1268 weight class) and Origen Alexandria (ranked 131 p4p, 180 weight class). Honorio comes to the cage accompanied by Through the Darkness by Vinicius Honorio. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vinicius Honorio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Origen Alexandria!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honorio swings widly with a right hand
and Alexandria counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Honorio misses with a hook.
Alexandria is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Honorio takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Alexandria loads up on a big right hand but Honorio slips the punch.
Alexandria fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Honorio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Honorio rushes Alexandria and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alexandria.
Alexandria gets underhooks to prevent Honorio's takedown attempt.
Honorio struggles to land a body shot inside as Alexandria controls his hands.
Honorio goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Honorio gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Alexandria regains guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Alexandria bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Honorio's guard.

Alexandria slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
It looks like Alexandria might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Alexandria must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Honorio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alexandria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Alexandria's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Honorio looking for a triangle here. Alexandria is fighting it but it looks tight! Honorio pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Alexandria is tapping out - this one is all over!
