Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olo Adofo (ranked 1086 p4p, 24491 weight class) and Jeremy Butler (ranked 55 p4p, 276 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Olo Adofo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Butler! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adofo throws a head kick but Butler moves out of range.
Butler works over Adofo's head and body with a nice combination. Adofo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Butler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Adofo walks away with a smile on his face. Butler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Adofo moves into the clinch. Adofo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Adofo is pressed up against the cage. Butler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Adofo down to the mat. Adofo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Butler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Butler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Adofo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Olo Adofo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Butler. Adofo moves in looking to clinch but Butler pushes him off. Butler with a jab. Butler shoots in and drives through. Adofo sprawls well. Butler scores with a hook to the body. Adofo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Butler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Adofo counters with an outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adofo throws a leg kick which misses Butler's front leg but catches the back leg as Butler tries to avoid it. Adofo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Adofo is looking to clinch. Butler swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Butler goes for a double leg but Adofo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Adofo continues to drive forward. Butler jabs Adofo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Adofo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Butler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Adofo. Adofo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Butler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adofo swivels and escapes. Butler fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Butler scores with the left hand. Adofo knows he should have avoided that one. Adofo fails in his attempt to clinch. Adofo forces Butler back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right from Adofo. This has been an exciting period of action! Butler jumps guard but Adofo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Adofo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Butler avoids it. Butler tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Butler tries to pull guard but Adofo forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Butler goes for a takedown attempt but Adofo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Butler's coach down at Irish Collar & Elbow Academy (ICE) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Butler's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Adofo drives through and clinches with Butler against the cage.

Butler is rocked! Adofo lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Butler. Butler is still on wobbly legs! Can Adofo finish him? Adofo working some nice short punches in the clinch. Adofo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Adofo is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Butler tries to break Adofo's hands from around his neck, Adofo unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Butler will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
