The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brzech shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones has his foot on Brzech's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brzech works his way back into a safe position though.
Brzech trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Jones working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brzech has passed into half guard!
Brzech throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Brzech doesn't defend quickly enough and Jones has managed to lock this one up! Can Brzech escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jones on a fantastic submission victory.
