Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilbervan Soares!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Erdogan counters with a nice uppercut.
Soares avoids the body shot from Erdogan.
Soares takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sloppy strikes from Soares. Those never looked like landing.
Soares tries to clinch but Erdogan moves out of range.
Mustafa Erdogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soares fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Erdogan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Soares darts in looking for a takedown but Erdogan gets double underhooks and turns Soares into the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Soares has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Erdogan looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Erdogan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Erdogan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Erdogan wants it to stay on the feet.
Soares pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Soares throws a front kick aimed at Erdogan's knee but Erdogan avoids it well.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Erdogan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Soares's brow.
Erdogan breaks the clinch.
Erdogan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Soares under the eye.
Soares closes the distance and clinches up with Erdogan, looking for a takedown. Soares pushes Erdogan against the cage but Erdogan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mustafa Erdogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilbervan Soares.
Erdogan cracks Soares with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Erdogan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Soares to stand back up!
Soares is rocked!
Erdogan flashes Soares a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Soares's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Soares crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Erdogan punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
