Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24781 p4p, 24722 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buktot's waist but Buktot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buut off to one side. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Buut shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buktot but Buktot pushes him off and we're back to square one. Buktot shoots in for a takedown but Buut shows good takedown defense. Buut follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Buktot sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is looking to work some ground and pound but Buut has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buut throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Buktot is fighting to break Buut's control of his arms but Buut is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Buktot's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buktot gets caught napping as Buut dives in and scores a takedown. Buktot manages to retain guard. Buut sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut wants to control from the top but Buktot keeps moving. Buut engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buktot pulls Buut in to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Buut engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut misses with a takedown attempt - Buktot sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot fails with the takedown and Buut counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Walay Buut will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Buut shoots in looking for a takedown. Buktot tries to sprawl out of it but Buut keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buktot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Buktot closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Buut quickly recovers to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Buut trying to hold on to Buktot's head to control him but Buktot postures up.
Buktot passes into side control, despite Buut's attempt to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A lull in the action here. Buktot taking a break here but Buut is having none of it and regains half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Buktot seems content to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buut feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buut controls from within his opponent's guard. Buktot wants to hit a sweep here but Buut passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Buktot there! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot is trying desperately to improve position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dawindi Buktot will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Buut fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Buktot sprawls well initially but Buut persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Buut slows the pace down in half guard. Buut's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut trying to control from half guard but Buktot is working away. Walay Buut has got the better of the ground game so far. It looks like Buut is going to stand back up.
Buut is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buktot wants to improve his position but Buut is controlling well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buut fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Buut avoids it. Buut scores with a takedown into Buktot's guard. Buktot pulls Buut in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot continues to stall. Buut seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Buktot seems keen to control Buut's posture. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot wants to sweep here but Buut controlling him for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
