Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Ferriera (ranked 3173 p4p, 2990 weight class) and Shadow Island One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One doesn't manage to clinch there - Ferriera circles away.
Ferriera drops down looking for a counter takedown but One sprawls and moves away.
Ferriera misses with an uppercut. One saw that one coming.
Shadow Island One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
One fails with an attempt to clinch.

One moves into the clinch.
One tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ferriera smiles and moves away.

One closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

One gets control of Ferriera's arms and successfully pulls guard. One will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

One throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ferriera escapes and throws One's legs to the side, diving into side control!

One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferriera swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

One isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ferriera stacks One on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ferriera!
