Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuvaraj Hallstro (ranked 2867 p4p, 3077 weight class) and Alcide Almunecar (ranked 371 p4p, 387 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alcide Almunecar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almunecar fakes the leg kick and cracks Hallstro in the body.
Almunecar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hallstro under the eye.
Hallstro looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Almunecar!
Almunecar tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hallstro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hallstro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Almunecar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hallstro goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Almunecar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hallstro but great work by Almunecar.

Hallstro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Almunecar defends it easily.
Hallstro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Almunecar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Almunecar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Almunecar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Almunecar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hallstro is proving hard to escape from.
Almunecar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Hallstro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Almunecar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hallstro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Almunecar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hallstro takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Almunecar works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hallstro is rocked!
Almunecar throws a shot to the body.
Almunecar lands a jab to Hallstro's midsection.
Almunecar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Crunch! Almunecar slams his shin into Hallstro's torso.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Almunecar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hallstro has time to react.
Hallstro takes one to the chin there.
Oh Hallstro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hallstro tries for a takedown but Almunecar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hallstro dives in for a single leg takedown but Almunecar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Almunecar manages to break the clinch.
Almunecar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Almunecar cracks Hallstro on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hallstro falls backwards against the ropes. Almunecar follows up with more strikes that drop Hallstro to his knees. Almunecar keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hallstro! This one is all over!
