Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Souto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Saez on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Souto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Saez manages to get back to half guard.
Saez is trying is best to control the position here.
Souto not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Souto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Saez manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Souto has a takedown stuffed.
Souto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
No luck for Souto with that takedown attempt.
Saez drops Souto with a right and a left! Saez comes rushing in but Souto regains his composure and manages to keep Saez in guard.

It looks like Renzo Souto has been cut.
Souto looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Saez passes Souto's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Saez tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Souto.
Saez is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Souto!
Saez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Saez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Souto is trying to escape the mount.

Saez is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Horrible takedown by Souto or perhaps it was just good defense by Saez which made him look bad.
Su Saez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renzo Souto.

Saez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Saez scores with a nice strike.
Saez lunges at Souto with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Souto's hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Souto takes one to the chin there.

Saez closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Souto out cold! Souto corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
