Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Peltzer (ranked 4265 p4p, 4249 weight class) and Ivan Polichev (ranked 157 p4p, 156 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oskar Peltzer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Polichev! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peltzer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Ivan Polichev has been cut. Polichev motions for Peltzer to come forward. Polichev throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Peltzer tries to counter by clinching up but Polichev breaks away and moves out of range. Peltzer shoots in but no luck this time. Polichev is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Peltzer swats away the attempt to clinch by Polichev. Polichev fails in his attempt to clinch. Polichev should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Polichev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Peltzer has closed the distance and engaged Polichev in a clinch.
Peltzer jumps guard and drags Polichev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peltzer managing to control the position. Polichev in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peltzer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peltzer has control of Polichev's left arm, preventing Polichev from doing any damage. Peltzer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Peltzer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Polichev is pressing down on Peltzer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Polichev working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Peltzer. Peltzer works a leg free and moves into half guard. Peltzer controlling the pace. Polichev keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Polichev wants to control but Peltzer is keeping busy and won't allow it. Peltzer controlling the pace. Polichev is trying to stand up here but Peltzer is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Peltzer seems content to control. Polichev is trying to maintain the position but Peltzer is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Peltzer fails with the takedown. Peltzer throws a sloppy head kick and Polichev moves out of range easily. Polichev doesn't manage to clinch there - Peltzer circles away.
Peltzer wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Polichev shoots for a takedown but Peltzer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Peltzer tries to counter by clinching up but Polichev breaks away and moves out of range. Peltzer shoots in looking for a takedown but Polichev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Peltzer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oskar Peltzer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Polichev shoots and misses and Peltzer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Polichev is looking to clinch but Peltzer is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peltzer tries a head kick but it misses.
Peltzer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Polichev, pushing him back against the cage. Polichev jumps guard but Peltzer stands there with Polichev around his waist. Polichev gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Polichev tries to land knees in the clinch but Peltzer avoids the damage to the body. Polichev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Peltzer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Peltzer shoots in for a takedown but Polichev shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Polichev lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peltzer shoots in but no luck this time. Polichev has a takedown stuffed. Peltzer closes the distance and clinches.
And that's the end of the fight! Oskar Peltzer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Peltzer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
