Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Axmed Abdullah !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gordon Hurst!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdullah displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hurst throws out the jab.
Hurst looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hurst misses with a hook. Abdullah ducked under it nicely.
Abdullah looking to score a takedown here. Hurst is defending well but Abdullah drives through and ends up in Hurst's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hurst wants to sweep but no luck.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Abdullah lands a nice short elbow.

Hurst has hold of Abdullah 's hands but Abdullah slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Abdullah connects with a nice short shot to Hurst's temple.
Hurst is still in real trouble! Can Abdullah finish him?

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Abdullah gets to his feet and stands over Hurst, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hurst felt that one! Abdullah unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hurst from any more punishment!
