Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bee Bu (ranked 6050 p4p, 5957 weight class) and Franz Ramos (ranked 527 p4p, 523 weight class). Franz Ramos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bee Bu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franz Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos misses with a hook. Bu ducked under it nicely.
Bu changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Bu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ramos keeps the fight on the outside.
Ramos throws a combination that misses
and Bu counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bu.
Bu working hard to break the clinch.
Bu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ramos tries to score a body lock takedown but Bu shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bu is trying to push Ramos away but Ramos has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bu trying to stall but Ramos improves his position.
Bu jumps guard.
Bu trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bu pushes Ramos off and gets back to his feet.
Ramos lands a glancing blow to the side of Bu's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bu slips under a jab from Ramos.
Ramos avoids the head kick by Bu.
Ramos blocks a head kick by Bu.
Ramos drops Bu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bu looks back up at him and smiles so Ramos waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ramos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Franz Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bu gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ramos gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bu is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Franz Ramos!
