Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Savile!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Savile closes the distance and clinches.
Man fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Savile lands a left hand that snaps the head of Man backwards.
A left hand lands to the body for Savile.
Savile lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Savile lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Savile scores with a shot to the side of Man's head.
A hook to the body from Savile.
Savile lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A shot in the inside from Savile.
Man is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Savile to keep the fight standing.
A short body shot lands from Savile as the two fighters clinch.

Man is trying to drag Savile to the mat but Savile just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Savile lands a left hand that snaps the head of Man backwards.

Savile digs a right hand into Man's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Man's gas tank.
Man has Savile pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Savile manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Man is working for takedown but Savile is calmly controlling the position for now.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Savile.
Savile lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Man jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Savile walks away with a smile on his face. Man gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Man doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Man takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Man walks into a jab.
Savile ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Man throws a leg kick that is checked
and Savile counters with a straight right hand.
Savile lands with a cross.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Savile shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man needs to keep his hands up - Savile had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man misses with a takedown
and Savile counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Savile scores with a crisp jab that stopped Man in his tracks.
Donk. Savile catches Man right on the button with a cross.
Man circles away from the clinch attempt

and Man counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Man not landing any meaningful shots this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Savile can do anything to dispel that myth.
