Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabriele Ghiotto (ranked 1949 p4p, 2802 weight class) and William Mcintyre (ranked 114 p4p, 157 weight class). William Mcintyre will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintyre takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ghiotto lunges at Mcintyre with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mcintyre's hand.
Gabriele Ghiotto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ghiotto digs a good body shot into Mcintyre's ribs.
We've been informed that Mcintyre has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Mcintyre pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

It seemed like Mcintyre was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Ghiotto digs a right hand into Mcintyre's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mcintyre's gas tank.

Ghiotto ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ghiotto no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ghiotto is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Ghiotto is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mcintyre frees his head nicely. Oh but Ghiotto has switched to an armbar! Mcintyre is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
