Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Santos (ranked 2510 p4p, 2358 weight class) and Suydas Kimsh (ranked 316 p4p, 299 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Suydas Kimsh! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimsh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kimsh. Santos tries to buck Kimsh off but Kimsh is having none of it. Santos tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kimsh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Kimsh can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Santos is looking to escape. Santos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kimsh looking to secure an arm triangle but Santos defends it well. BOOM! Kimsh connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kimsh lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Santos is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kimsh scores with a couple of nice shots. Santos wants to get back to full guard. Santos is working hard here to advance position. Kimsh stands and throws Santos's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kimsh thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Santos is looking to regain half guard here but Kimsh keeps moving and retains side control. Santos looks to move to half guard but instead Kimsh has passed into mount! Damn! Kimsh controlling from the full mount. Santos bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kimsh wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kimsh holds on and takes a little breather. Kimsh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Santos feints and as Kimsh raises his hands in defense, Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Our spies down at at Besta-Fera Training Center inform us that Kimsh has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Kimsh wants to sweep here but Santos controlling him for the moment. Santos trying to control but Kimsh is working from the bottom. Kimsh looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kimsh is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kimsh keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully. Suydas Kimsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Santos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kimsh defends it easily. Suydas Kimsh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Santos tries to roll over but Kimsh keeps him under control. Kimsh passes to side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Santos trying to remain calm as Kimsh controls from the top position. Leonardo Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kimsh is looking to take a break and control but Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
