Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omar Raharu (ranked 5115 p4p, 4313 weight class) and Henry Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cooper looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cooper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Raharu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Henry Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raharu as he jumps to the side.
Cooper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Raharu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Cooper looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cooper tries to move into range but Raharu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Cooper has Raharu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Raharu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Omar Raharu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Cooper.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Raharu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cooper is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Raharu is defending well for now.

Cooper tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cooper is trying to break the clinch but Raharu has him pressed against the cage.

Raharu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Raharu makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Raharu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cooper avoids the body shot from Raharu.
Cooper is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Cooper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Raharu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Raharu was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Raharu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Raharu scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Raharu tests Cooper's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooper darts in looking for a takedown but Raharu gets double underhooks and turns Cooper into the cage.
Raharu lands with a nice body punch.
Raharu scores with a one two! Cooper had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A punch lands to the side of Cooper 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Cooper is rocked!
Raharu cracks Cooper's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Cooper slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Raharu can do further damage! This one is done, son!
