The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuguego fails with the takedown.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fuguego has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fuguego shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valentine as he avoids it easily.

and Valentine counters with a nice right hand that sends Fuguego toppling to the canvas! Fuguego scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Valentine finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Valentine scores with a counter punch that sends Fuguego to the canvas! Valentine smells blood - he's punishing Fuguego with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Fuguego has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
