The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Gomez misses the target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Gomez has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Gomez cracks Cassidy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gomez has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cassidy to stand back up!

That has opened up Jamison Cassidy's cut even more.
Cassidy gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Gomez gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Cassidy is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Gomez!
