Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Hardaway (ranked 2088 p4p, 2671 weight class) and Micah Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardaway comes to the cage accompanied by My My, Hey Hey - Neil Young. Samuel Hardaway had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samuel Hardaway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Micah Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardaway throws the left hand but Hawk avoids the punch easily.
Hardaway throws a leg kick which misses Hawk's front leg but catches the back leg as Hawk tries to avoid it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hardaway darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hawk is defended easily by Hardaway.
Hardaway keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hardaway with a body punch. A glancing blow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A cross from Hardaway lands.
Hardaway lands with a shot to the body.
Hardaway stuns Hawk with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That kick from Hardaway tenderised Hawk's leg. Hawk is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hardaway lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hardaway connects with a nice looking jab.
Hardaway feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hawk sprawling to the canvas! Hawk rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hardaway finish him?!
Hawk is rocked!
Hardaway wobbles Hawk with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Hardaway dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Hawk to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Samuel Hardaway!
After winning the bout, Samuel Hardaway thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
