Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Skillz Kneeland (ranked 579 p4p, 660 weight class) and Conor Lee (ranked 90 p4p, 102 weight class). Kneeland's entrance music is Kung Fu FIghting. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Skillz Kneeland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Conor Lee! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee misses with a hook. Kneeland fails to land with a series of punches.
Kneeland avoids the head kick by Lee.
Kneeland misses with a low kick.
Lee tries to counter with a clinch but Kneeland shakes him off and moves away. Kneeland misses with a wild combination.
That kick from Lee tenderised Kneeland's leg. Kneeland is trying to keep his angry face on. Lee throws a hook to the side of Kneeland's head but Kneeland sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kneeland swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kneeland gets in close and instigates a clinch. I was talking to Kneeland's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kneeland avoids a wild elbow strike from Lee. Lee misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lee lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee lands a body shot. Lee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Lee lands a hook that snaps the head of Kneeland backwards. Kneeland breaks the clinch.
Lee misses the jab. Kneeland dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage! Kneeland blocks a leg kick. Kneeland tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kneeland lands a jab-cross combination. Kneeland throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely. Kneeland lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee misses with a kick to the body.
Kneeland lands with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kneeland on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kneeland. Lee on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kneeland. Kneeland obviously looking to wear him down.
Kneeland jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance. Lee feints and then cracks Kneeland's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kneeland down. Lee misses with a looping left. Kneeland lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lee throws a head kick that misses and Kneeland connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kneeland throws a body kick that misses and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Skillz Kneeland has been cut. A low kick lands for Lee.

Kneeland goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kneeland!
Lee moves out of range of the body kick. Lee on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kneeland chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kneeland will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kneeland connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lee throws a head kick that misses. Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Kneeland counters by moving into the clinch. Lee working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kneeland blocks a body shot from Lee. Lee misses with a hook from the clinch. Lee manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kneeland doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lee is tightening it up a little... Kneeland has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kneeland reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kneeland taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lee!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Conor Lee! An out of breath Conor Lee thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
