Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24795 p4p, 24735 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut shoots in looking for a takedown but Buktot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buut's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buktot thinks about countering with a body kick. Buktot scores with a head kick.
Buktot gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Buut to score an easy takedown into full guard. Buktot looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is controlling Buut's posture. Buktot continues to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buut seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Buktot keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buut throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot trying to control but Buut postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Buut shoots in but Buktot avoids the takedown attempt easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Buktot is defended easily by Buut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot tries for a takedown but Buut circles away easily and Buut counters with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut dives in and grabs Buktot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buktot pushes down on Buut's head and hops out. Buut closes the distance and clinches up with Buktot, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes Buktot against the cage but Buktot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Buktot looking to score a takedown here. Buut is defending well but Buktot drives through and ends up in Buut's guard. Buut looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buktot is stalling in the full guard. Buktot looking to sit in guard and control but Buut gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Buktot pulls Buut in close to prevent any damage. Buut sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut stopping the sweep attempt from Buktot. Buktot pulls Buut in close to prevent any damage. Buut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buktot shoots for a double leg takedown but Buut sprawls well. He's pushed Buktot's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Buut misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Buktot jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Buktot tries to sprawl but Buut drives through with a takedown into half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Buut misses with a low kick as Buktot jumps back. Buut darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Walay Buut has got the better of the ground game so far. Buktot is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buktot kicks Buut off and gets back to his feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Buut or perhaps it was just good defense by Buktot, which made it look bad. It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there. Buktot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buut sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut gets a double leg takedown into Buktot's guard. Buktot pulls Buut in close to prevent any damage. Buut controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buut accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buktot being controlled here, momentarily. Buktot looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Buut puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dawindi Buktot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Walay Buut is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot is trying to maintain the position but Buut is very close to passing his half guard. Buktot misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Buut winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
