Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fábio Araújo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jupiter Smalls!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araújo throws a looping overhand right but Smalls ducks down to avoid it.
And Smalls tries to counter it with a takedown but Araújo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Araújo works Smalls's body with a nice hook.
Smalls with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Araújo to score with a decent uppercut.
Araújo throws a shot from downtown. Smalls moves away and avoids it.
Araújo scores with a punch to the head.
Jab, jab by Araújo - just one landing.
Araújo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Araújo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Silverback MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Smalls tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Araújo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A cross from Araújo lands.
Araújo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smalls.
Araújo throws the left hand but Smalls avoids the punch easily.
Araújo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smalls blocks a jab.
And Smalls tries to counter it with a takedown but Araújo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A swing and a miss from Araújo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Araújo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Araújo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Araújo duly obliges.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Araújo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smalls has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Araújo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smalls.
Araújo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Smalls momentarily.
Smalls is rocked!
Fábio Araújo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smalls is still on wobbly legs! Can Araújo finish him?
Smalls looks winded!
Araújo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Smalls to the canvas! Smalls doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Araújo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
