Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rock Romero (ranked 799 p4p, 906 weight class) and Jan Raczynski (ranked 116 p4p, 127 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero lands with a good body shot.
We've been told by Romero 's head coaches at Finch Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Romero lands a jab.
Romero misses with a looping right.
A telegraphed right hand from Raczynski misses the target.
Romero gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Romero throws an off balance right hand
and Raczynski counters with a stiff right hand.
Romero throws a big shot that misses.
Raczynski scoring well with a low kick there.
Romero misses the jab.
Raczynski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Romero throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Raczynski counters with a nice uppercut.
Romero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Raczynski takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Jan Raczynski has been cut.
Raczynski gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Romero gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Raczynski is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
