Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bean Bryant (ranked 1610 p4p, 2321 weight class) and Masa Saitoh (ranked 243 p4p, 336 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bean Bryant ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Masa Saitoh! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Bean Bryant has been cut. Bryant takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Saitoh looks to land a right hand but Bryant moved out of range. Bryant jabs at Saitoh's body. Bryant connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Masa Saitoh has been cut. A head kick misses from Bryant . Sloppy strikes from Bryant . Those never looked like landing. Saitoh swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Bryant lands a nice looking body shot.
Bryant bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bryant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saitoh moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Saitoh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saitoh tries to keep at a distance but Bryant has taken the fight into the clinch. Saitoh managing to block the knees to the body from Bryant .
Bryant tries to land knees in the clinch but Saitoh avoids the damage to the body. Bryant tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Saitoh avoids it. Saitoh is pushing Bryant up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Saitoh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryant moves away from the strike by Saitoh. Bean Bryant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bryant throws a left that rocks Saitoh and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bryant dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Saitoh regain composure!
Saitoh regains half guard, as Bryant was trying to land strikes. Saitoh is controlling Bryant 's position as best he can from this difficult position. Bryant wants to work for an arm triangle but Saitoh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Saitoh moves into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saitoh pulls Bryant in close to his closed guard and prevents Bryant from doing any damage or advancing position. Bryant pushing down on Saitoh's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryant is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Saitoh has managed to free his arm - good work. Bryant missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Saitoh is looking to control Bryant 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Saitoh avoid being mounted? Bryant wants to free his trapped foot but Saitoh is holding on for dear life with his legs. Saitoh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bryant is working away from the top position though. Bryant seems to be working for a kimura but Saitoh defends the submission attempt. Bryant is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant stops Saitoh from getting back to his feet.
Bryant is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bryant is working for an americana but Saitoh has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bryant was thinking about the submission. Saitoh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bryant throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Saitoh holds on and takes a little breather. Bryant loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bryant wants to pass the guard but Saitoh is keeping the position. Saitoh is pulling down on Bryant 's head to control his posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Saitoh avoids the head kick by Bryant .
Bryant has Saitoh up against the cage in a clinch.
Bryant is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Saitoh is defending well for now. Saitoh blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Saitoh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bryant tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice side step and Saitoh releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Bryant throws a lazy head kick and Saitoh counters with a lovely straight right hand! Saitoh stuffs the takedown. Bryant walks into a straight right hand from Saitoh. Bryant uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saitoh. Bryant uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saitoh. Bryant is looking to counter punch. Saitoh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Saitoh lands a left and a right that send Bryant crashing to the mat, dazed. Saitoh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bean Bryant will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Saitoh pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bryant takes the fight into the clinch. Saitoh manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Saitoh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Saitoh lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Bryant is looking to close the distance but Saitoh sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Bryant crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Bryant is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Masa Saitoh!
