Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ben Salah Jr (ranked 5754 p4p, 6235 weight class) and Rob Thornton (ranked 537 p4p, 561 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Thornton!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben Salah Jr misses with a body kick.
Thornton wants to counter with a clinch but Ben Salah Jr pushes him away.
Ben Salah Jr throws a body kick that misses
and Thornton counters by clinching up.
Thornton lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A shot in the inside from Thornton.
Thornton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thornton misses with a hook to the ribs.
Thornton lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ben Salah Jr.
Thornton lands with a right to the head.
Thornton lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ben Salah Jr backwards.
Thornton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Thornton cracks Ben Salah Jr with a nice body shot.
Ben Salah Jr takes a shot to the head.
Thornton lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ben Salah Jr.

Thornton lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Thornton gets through Ben Salah Jr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

A nice left hand lands by Thornton.
Thornton digs a right hand underneath Ben Salah Jr's ribcage. Ben Salah Jr let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Oh Ben Salah Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice right hand lands inside from Thornton.
Thornton throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ben Salah Jrs head.
Thornton manages to break the clinch.
Ben Salah Jr drops his hands momentarily. Thornton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ben Salah Jr staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ben Salah Jr doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
