Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cy Quackenbush!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quackenbush tries to clinch but Chief is having none of it.

Chief shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Quackenbush is trying to defend but Chief finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chief looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Quackenbush with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Chief lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chief has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chief connects with a nice short shot to Quackenbush's temple.
Quackenbush really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chief. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Island Chief decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
