The crowd seem to be enjoying Coryatt's choice of entrance music: Slim Thug - Welcome 2 Houston. Edison Atunes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atunes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coryatt at a distance.
Atunes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Coryatt drops his hands momentarily and Atunes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Coryatt. That snapped Atunes's head back.

Coryatt throws an overhand right that lands on Atunes's shoulder, as Atunes tries to avoid the shot.

Coryatt lands a nice hook to Atunes's body. Atunes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Coryatt crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Atunes - the referee stops the clock and Coryatt gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Atunes. Coryatt manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Coryatt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Atunes drops Coryatt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Coryatt looks back up at him and smiles so Atunes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Coryatt is still on wobbly legs! Can Atunes finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Atunes shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Coryatt takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Atunes sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Coryatt bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edison Atunes!
Edison Atunes made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'He will probably die later. '.
