Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Billabong (ranked 185 p4p, 379 weight class) and Jakov Pavlek (ranked 31 p4p, 59 weight class). Pavlek is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cool Kids of Death - Czloweik Mucha. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Billabong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jakov Pavlek!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Pavlek throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd cheers as Pavlek lands an impressive looking overhand right. Billabong doesn't seem phased though.
Pavlek moves out of range of the strikes.
Pavlek's jab looks to have found its range, popping Billabong under the eye.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pavlek lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Billabong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Billabong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jakov Pavlek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice straight punches there by Pavlek. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pavlek.
Pavlek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Billabong manages to avoid it.

Pavlek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It looked like Billabong was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pavlek.
Pavlek lands with a good body shot.
Billabong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pavlek wants to get back to his feet but Billabong is dominant here and he's now got Pavlek's back!

I really don't envy Pavlek right now.

Billabong goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Pavlek escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Pavlek is working for a kimura but Billabong is defending it quite comfortably.

Pavlek must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Billabong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pavlek's guard.

Pavlek isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Billabong stacks Pavlek on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Billabong!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee asks Billabong politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Billabong prefers to stall for the moment though.

Pavlek tries to buck Billabong off but Billabong is having none of it.
Billabong grinds an elbow into Pavlek's temple.
Pavlek is looking to reverse the position.
Billabong works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Pavlek is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Billabong has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Billabong gets to mount! Pavlek was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Billabong is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pavlek can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Billabong is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pavlek!
Billabong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pavlek has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Billabong to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pavlek is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Billabong pulls down on the head and he's put Pavlek to sleep! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Johnny Billabong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
