The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez swinging wilding here.
Rye Rock checks a leg kick. A cross from Rye Rock lands. Sanchez tries to clinch but Rye Rock is having none of it. Rye Rock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rye Rock is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sanchez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rye Rock trying to control the position but Sanchez is working away. Sanchez has had enough of the clinch but Rye Rock keeps him there for the moment. Sanchez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rye Rock avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A punch combination from Rye Rock misses. Sanchez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rye Rock. Rye Rock throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rye Rock off to one side. Rye Rock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sanchez is fending him off so far but Rye Rock persists. Nope, Sanchez circles away and we're back to standing. Rye Rock is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.
Rye Rock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively. Sanchez looks to land a combination but Rye Rock avoids it well. Rye Rock wants to clinch but Sanchez slips to the side and Sanchez moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rye Rock tries to pull guard but Sanchez holds him up against the cage and eventually Rye Rock drops back down to his feet.
Rye Rock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sanchez has him pressed against the cage. Rye Rock tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sanchez smiles and moves away.

Rye Rock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rye Rock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rye Rock thows a big elbow that misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sanchez wants to stand up but Rye Rock is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanchez throws a combination that misses and Rye Rock counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rye Rock is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rye Rock misses with a head shot. Sanchez uses the momentum to regain guard. Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but Rye Rock is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rye Rock is working Sanchez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rye Rock manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Rye Rock wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanchez, who protects the arm well. Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but Rye Rock drags him back down. Sanchez is looking to get back to his feet here but Rye Rock is keeping cool and he's managed to take Sanchez's back. Rye Rock throwing wild punches that miss their target. Sanchez has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rye Rock punishes Sanchez with strikes from the back mount. Pedro Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rye Rock missing with strikes from the back. Rye Rock is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Rye Rock lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Rye Rock scores with punches and elbows. What can Sanchez do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Rye Rock is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Rye Rock gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Rye Rock gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Rye Rock apologises and we restart here on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rye Rock misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rye Rock closes the distance and clinches. Rye Rock prevents Sanchez from breaking the clinch. Ryan Rye Rock is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sanchez stops a takedown attempt from Rye Rock.

And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Rye Rock showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rye Rock, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
