Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Monk Gorfne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peyton Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorfne throws a hook but Miller blocks it.
Gorfne misses with the combination.

Gorfne gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Miller looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Miller wants to pass the guard but Gorfne is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Miller stops Gorfne from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gorfne on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gorfne tries to get out of the position.

Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Miller drops back looking for a leg! Gorfne is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gorfne manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Gorfne's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Miller shoots in but Gorfne avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Miller looks gassed!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gorfne lands with a nice combination. Miller backs away looking to recover.

Miller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Miller is trying to get an arm triangle but Gorfne is defending well.
Gorfne pushes Miller away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Miller gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Miller tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Miller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gorfne has escaped the position, nice work there.

Miller is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gorfne is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gorfne pushes Miller away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Miller gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gorfne trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Miller has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gorfne is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Miller yanks on the arm and Gorfne is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Miller.
