Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Mahi Ai (ranked 808 p4p, 1906 weight class) and Davide Farina (ranked 126 p4p, 287 weight class). Mahi Ai comes to the cage accompanied by Slaughterhouse - Powermad. Thomas Mahi Ai could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Davide Farina's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Mahi Ai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Davide Farina! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mahi Ai walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Mahi Ai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Mahi Ai drives through and clinches with Farina against the cage.
Farina tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Farina misses with the head strike.
Farina scores with a hook to the body. Mahi Ai tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Mahi Ai tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Farina's elbow. Farina is trying to break free. A shot in the inside from Farina. Mahi Ai tries to work over Farina's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mahi Ai swings wildly with an uppercut but Farina uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice body punch from Farina - that landed with a thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mahi Ai lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Farina breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mahi Ai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Farina closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mahi Ai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Farina finds it's way round the side to connect with Mahi Ai's head. Farina has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Farina connects with a nice looking jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mahi Ai fails in his attempt to clinch. Farina swats away the attempt to clinch by Mahi Ai. Mahi Ai is looking to clinch but Farina is avoiding it.
It seemed like Farina was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mahi Ai moves into range and clinches up with Farina. Farina throws a punch but it's blocked by Mahi Ai. Mahi Ai keeps control of Farina as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A short left from Mahi Ai. Good body shot from Farina.

Davide Farina is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mahi Ai takes the fight into the clinch. Mahi Ai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mahi Ai lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Farina is trying to push Mahi Ai away but Mahi Ai has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mahi Ai blocks an uppercut.
Mahi Ai keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Farina's efforts to push away. Farina lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Mahi Ai cracks Farina with a nice body shot. Mahi Ai misses with an elbow over the top. Mahi Ai lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mahi Ai tries a body shot but Farina blocks it.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Mahi Ai. Farina throws a head punch that misses. A shot in the inside from Farina. A nice left hand lands by Farina.
A nice right hand lands inside from Farina. Farina pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Farina's corner calls for a 1-2. Farina obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A jab from Farina does it's job there.
Mahi Ai is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Farina fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Mahi Ai square on the jaw! Damn, Mahi Ai is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Davide Farina decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Thomas Mahi Ai was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
