And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miles O Brien!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Battleby.
Battleby goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
O Brien falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Battleby counter with a right hand.
Battleby throws a leg kick that is checked
and O Brien counters with a crisp one two that drops Battleby! O Brien thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Battleby to his feet! Battleby is in big trouble!
O Brien throws the left hand but Battleby avoids the punch easily.
Battleby is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
O Brien fails to land with a series of punches.

As O Brien backs away, Battleby returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Battleby. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Battleby.
It looks like Miles O Brien has been cut.
O Brien throws a lazy right hand but Battleby sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Battleby fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. O Brien looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by O Brien!

O Brien has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Battleby.
Battleby looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
O Brien falls off balance throwing a combination
and Battleby counters with a left to the body.

O Brien throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Battleby to counter with a crisp jab.
O Brien throws a right and a left that both miss.
O Brien swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A little feinted left hand from Battleby on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Battleby cracks O Brien with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Battleby has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning O Brien to stand back up!
O Brien is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Battleby knocks out O Brien with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Battleby before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Battleby picks up the big W with a huge KO!
