Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Patrick (ranked 4334 p4p, 24996 weight class) and Andy Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick comes to the cage accompanied by I Win!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Patrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Liu!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu tries to clinch up but Patrick circles away and keeps his distance.
Liu gets caught napping as Patrick dives in and scores a takedown. Liu manages to retain guard.
Liu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Patrick controls the pace.
Patrick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Patrick works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Patrick content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liu tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Patrick has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee warns Liu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Patrick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Liu is rocked!
Liu takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Patrick's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Daniel Patrick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
