Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gambini (ranked 5300 p4p, 24994 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Silva looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Gambini throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Silva blocks it with crossed arms.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

As Gambini backs off Silva throws a huge counter combo but Gambini manages to avoid it all.

Gambini has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Silva off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
