Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deniz Uzun (ranked 3376 p4p, 2262 weight class) and Daniel Maverick (ranked 406 p4p, 293 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzun takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The crowd cheers as Maverick lands an impressive looking overhand right. Uzun doesn't seem phased though.

Maverick drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Uzun right on the button. Uzun goes down! Maverick follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Maverick gets the win via TKO!

Daniel Maverick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
