Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie IV (ranked 2650 p4p, 3345 weight class) and JD Drake (ranked 127 p4p, 159 weight class). Drake has chosen Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein as his entrance music. JD Drake will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charlie IV!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, JD Drake!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a right and a left that IV avoids nicely.
IV was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
IV lands a body shot.
Drake throws an overhand right that lands on IV's shoulder, as IV tries to avoid the shot.
Drake moves out of range as IV strikes.
Oooooh!!! Drake has knocked IV down with a huge combo! Drake steps away and waves a wobbly IV back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Charlie IV has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drake throws a hook but IV avoids it easily.
Drake finds IV's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! IV flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Drake lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure IV will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). JD Drake!
A very excited looking JD Drake made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
