Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu (ranked 588 p4p, 1149 weight class) and Frank Rizzo (ranked 44 p4p, 76 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fukumitsu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to you should see me in a crown. The key to victory for Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Rizzo!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukumitsu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Fukumitsu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Nice defenses there by Rizzo.
Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fukumitsu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rizzo has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rizzo connects with a nice short shot to Fukumitsu's temple.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Rizzo has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Fukumitsu seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Rizzo can turn it around.

Rizzo looks up at the clock and then as Fukumitsu takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rizzo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Frank Rizzo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rizzo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Frank Rizzo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
