Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyreece Sterling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mohsin Zaidi!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling shoots in for a takedown but Zaidi shows good takedown defense.
Sterling avoids the body shot from Zaidi.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Zaidi swings for the body but Sterling moves out of range.
Zaidi tries to work over Sterling's front leg with a kick but Sterling checks it.
Sterling tries to counter by clinching up but Zaidi breaks away and moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Sterling.
Sterling drops down looking for a counter takedown but Zaidi sprawls and moves away.
Sterling looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zaidi is fending him off so far but Sterling persists. Nope, Zaidi circles away and we're back to standing.
Zaidi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sterling.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyreece Sterling. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zaidi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sterling tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zaidi defends well and Sterling ends up having to push Zaidi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Zaidi.
Zaidi lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Zaidi lands a hook to the side of the head.

Sterling is trying to pull guard but Zaidi has him pressed against the cage.

Zaidi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sterling backwards.

Zaidi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Zaidi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sterling shoots for a double leg takedown but Zaidi sprawls well. He's pushed Sterling's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zaidi connects with a body shot that sends Sterling's belly button to the back.
Sterling shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zaidi but Zaidi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sterling looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zaidi is fending him off so far but Sterling persists. Nope, Zaidi circles away and we're back to standing.
Zaidi scores with a jab to the jaw.
Zaidi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sterling tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zaidi is in Sterling's guard.
Zaidi chips away with some ground and pound.
Zaidi lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Zaidi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sterling is rocked!

Oh Sterling is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zaidi loads up on a big left hand. Sterling felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Zaidi looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Sterling can't hide his disappointment, as Zaidi celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mohsin Zaidi!
A very excited looking Mohsin Zaidi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
