Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Patrick (ranked 3897 p4p, 4231 weight class) and Mario Jelic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick comes to the cage accompanied by I Win!. Mario Jelic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Patrick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Jelic! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jelic fails with the takedown. Patrick was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jelic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jelic changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jelic swings for the body but Patrick moves out of range.
Patrick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jelic moves away. Patrick looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jelic manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Patrick keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Jelic goes for a takedown in the clinch but Patrick prevents it.
Patrick is trying to push Jelic away but Jelic has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Jelic stalling the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Jelic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jelic wants it to stay on the feet. Patrick stuffs the takedown attempt from Jelic. Jelic gets slowly back to his feet. Jelic fails with a takedown attempt. Patrick shoots in for a takedown but Jelic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Patrick shoots in and drives through. Jelic sprawls well. Jelic will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jelic wants to sweep but no luck. Jelic pulls Patrick in to control the position. Jelic is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Patrick presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Jelic tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Patrick just stands there and leans against the cage. Jelic breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jelic clinches up with Patrick and pushes him back against the cage. Jelic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Patrick smiles and moves away.

Jelic appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Patrick decides to pull guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Patrick trying to keep a closed guard but Jelic is proving a slippery customer.

Mario Jelic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! The fight stays on the outside here - Patrick looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jelic fails with the takedown. Patrick is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jelic. Horrible takedown attempt by Jelic or perhaps it was just good defense by Patrick, which made it look bad.
