Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Jackson (ranked 4325 p4p, 2960 weight class) and Hayden Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bo Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hayden Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Taylor tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jackson misses with the ground and pound.
Taylor is looking for a sweep.
Sloppy strikes there by Jackson.
Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson throws an elbow but Taylor slips to the side and avoids it well.
Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Taylor gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Jackson is keen to just control but Taylor is a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson misses with a head shot. Taylor uses the momentum to regain guard.

Jackson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Taylor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Taylor has escaped and now he's on top!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Taylor wants to take a breather but Jackson manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Taylor.

Taylor pulls Jackson in close to his closed guard and prevents Jackson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Taylor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Taylor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Taylor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Taylor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Taylor.

Taylor drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Taylor is standing up over Jackson. Jackson looks to escape but Taylor dives into side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bo Jackson will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Bo Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jackson throws a big counter combination but Taylor scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Taylor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Taylor swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jackson is now in Taylor's guard. A big mistake from Taylor there, giving up the dominant position!

Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Taylor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Taylor has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hayden Taylor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Taylor has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
