Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tua Taamu!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Adams 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Taamu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Taamu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nice body punch from Taamu - that landed with a thud.
Adams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Taamu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've been informed that Taamu has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Adams has his takedown stuffed
and Taamu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Adams! Taamu lets Adams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Adams is rocked!
It looks like Nick Adams has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Adams doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Taamu counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Adams falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
