Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaylon Mike (ranked 4363 p4p, 4497 weight class) and Pino Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jaylon Mike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pino Noir!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mike ducks under a wild hook from Noir.

Mike drives through with a takedown into Noir's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Mike controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mike's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Mike in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mike sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Noir's guard.
Mike passes to side control.

Mike decides to stand back up.

Noir gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Noir is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head punch on the inside from Noir fails to land.

Mike's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A swing and a miss from Noir.

Mike shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mike is keen to just control but Noir is a slippery customer.
Mike passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Noir!
Mike has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Noir is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Mike has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Noir's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mike controlling his opponent.
Noir is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Mike landing punches.
Noir is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mike landing strikes from the mount and Noir is in trouble!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Noir is trying to stand.
Mike controlling his opponent.
Mike's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Noir tries to control Mike's body but Mike pushes him off. Noir squirms to his side and now Mike has his back!

Mike has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Noir is in bad spot here.
Mike not allowing Noir to control his hands.
Mike biding his time, controlling Noir.
Noir wants to get back to his feet.

Noir manages to stand up with Mike still on his back. Eventually Mike drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Mike looks for a takedown but Noir sprawls well.
Mike on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pino Noir is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mike throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Noir was covering up waiting for the punch and Mike finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mike postures up in Noir's guard and throws a big left but Noir blocks it.
Noir wants to get back to his feet but Mike is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Noir is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mike forces his way into half guard.
Noir is staying active underneath Mike, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mike performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Noir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mike. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mike wants to pass to mount but Noir is defending the position.
Mike takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Noir is looking to control Mike's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Noir avoid being mounted?
Noir wants to sweep but Mike has passed to side control!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jaylon Mike dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mike is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Noir slaps away a takedown attempt from Mike, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mike fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mike is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Noir can do to turn this around?
Noir jabs Mike to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nice shot lands for Noir.
Noir bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mike's head.
Mike on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Noir bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mike walks into a stiff left hand from Noir.
Noir darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mike shoots in for a takedown but Noir shows good takedown defense.
Noir is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaylon Mike. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Noir cracks Mike with an open hand slap.
Mike takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Noir lands with a right hand.
Pino Noir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mike drops his hands momentarily and Noir takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Mike feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mike won't allow Noir to get back to his feet.

Mike drops back looking for a leg! Noir is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Noir manages to kick Mike off! Mike jumps back into Noir's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Noir manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Mike has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Noir finds it's way round the side to connect with Mike's head.
Mike tries to move into range but Noir moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Noir connects with a body shot.
Pino Noir seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Noir misses with a double jab.
Jaylon Mike is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mike dodges the punch combination from Noir.
Mike misses with a double jab.
Noir scores with a decent looking hook.

Mike takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Noir lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Noir lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Noir lands a jab to the head.

Mike is rocked!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mike.
Noir connects with the punch.
Noir scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mike looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mike takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Noir lands with a right hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Noir.
Oh Mike is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mike is holding his hands too far apart here. Noir throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Mike is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pino Noir!
